Identify you Ratted Or Keylogged

Hi readers,  

This tutorial is just to make you aware of how RATS and common Viruses attack your pc and what measures you can take to defend them. I will start form letter A. It helps newbie people . First of all you need to know about some virus.

Keyloggers

Tools that logs whatever you type on your keyboard,hence stealing sensitive data like passwords,personal info etc.

RAT

It's simply Remote Administration Tool,used by hackers to gain access over slave's PC and do all the mischief.

You have an AntiVirus ?

In this world,where everything is FUD,anti viruses hardly make a difference.So never have the feeling that you are completely safe just because you have a paid AV.

Command Prompt

Just in case you don't know,Command prompt is a black command window where you can type anything and control the whole computer with command.

So open run > type CMD and hit enter.

Phase One :

Type this in the CMD window :

Code: cd %appdata%

Then type dir , hit enter 

You will see a list of items like this :

ArbiBots.ini
RSBot_Accounts.ini
RSBot Accounts.ini
wklnhst.dat
Adobe ILLExports Filter CS5 Prefs
Adobe PNG Format CS5 Prefs
....

If these are the stuffs you see,then its O.K.

But if any of these guys pop up ,you need to be careful :

If you find anything suspicious ,you can use the 'del' command to delete the suspicious files by your own.

del filename.extension

PHASE 2

Open your Task Manager and go to Processes list.

There will be lots of processes running.There are shit load of viruses that loves to cover up themselves using some common names of processes that are found on most PC's.For example,the svchost.exe. There are many viruses that appear as svchost.exe.So if you find any svchost which looks suspicious and eats lots of your PC resource,it can possibly be some Ratted Servers.So go to the file location and use Tools like WireShark to grab its IP address.If you see its from some suspicious place,terminate it and delete it from your PC.Else ,let it run cause it may be some important process.

PHASE 3

And i would like to tell,almost all viruses are detectable.Even if they are UD,after some weeks or months,they will be detected.So do frequent virus scans atleast once a weak to ensure your PC does not have some common malwares.

Malwarebytes Antimalware

Malwarebytes really help you detect many kind of harmful malware that lies in your PC. Especially if there is a detected server, then it can seek and destroy it. If you get the full version it’s always better.

This is a free anti-virus software from Microsoft. It is easy to install and use.
